Controlling the LCD

These days, digital text displays are everywhere; from the screens on MP3 players to electronic book readers, such as those shown in Figure 1. Have you ever wondered how these displays work? In this activity, you will learn to send text to the XBoard's LCD screen, position this text on the screen, and even make your text flash and move!
